I’m not going to start by saying something cliché like ” I can’t believe it’ already been a year” or “My blog changed my life.” Frankly, writing this blog is super time-consuming and hard for me, being that I’m dyslexic. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s my blogs 1st birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINCERELY SATURDAY!
Over the course of this last year, I have learned so much about myself and blogging which I believe is an invaluable life lesson. Spending long hours crafting posts and editing pictures. I am truly happy that I have been able to keep it up for a full year.
Have I always posted as much as I wanted to? NO. Am I super happy with all of my current content? NO. Does it really matter? NO. Is it fulfilling? Hell YES! And that alone is why I will continue to post.
I’m sure you’ve read about other bloggers having 10,000 page views a day and how they make $6,000+ a month from blogging. Well, that’s like finding a needle in a haystack. Yes, I make money on this blog. I average about $50.00-$75.00 a month. It’s enough to pay for all the great plugins I need to keep it running smoothly. But If I’m honest I never intended to make money at all. I only started this blog because of a pin I posted on Pinterest of my double industrial curtain rods. After a year of people asking me how I made it, I decided to have the tutorial be my very first blog post. And the rest is history as they say.
My most popular blog posts over the past year are:

I would like to take a moment and thank all of you who have supported me throughout this last year. ALL of my close family and friends have never uttered a discouraging word. Thank you! And a special thank you to all of you who follow my blog, all 3,177 of you. Of course, without you, I would not be here typing you this love letter!
So happy birthday Sincerely Saturday! Word up, heeey (hand in the air). Here’s to more happy, fun and informative years to come!
Please feel free to let me know if there are any topics you would like to see me cover. Again, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
