Halloween is a fun and festive holiday, but not everyone celebrates it. For those who prefer to skip the spooky festivities, we have a heartwarming alternative – “you’ve been snuggled.” Similar to the Halloween tradition of “booing,” “you’ve been snuggled” is a way to spread some love and warmth to your friends and neighbors. In this post, I’ll show you how to start your own “you’ve been snuggled” tradition, complete with a free printable sign and instructions.
Please consider leaving a snuggle basket at a local church or food bank without the signage! Fill the basket or bag for donation with socks, hats, gloves, hand warmers, silicon shoe covers, underwear, baby items, feminine hygiene products, and food.

What is “You’ve Been Snuggled”?
Firstly I have researched the heck out of this and I do believe that I am the first to come up with “you’ve been snuggled!” So it’s a Sincerely Saturday exclusive! Insert me jumping for joy.
“You’ve been snuggled” is a heartwarming and cozy new tradition where you surprise your friends and neighbors with a basket of cozy and warm items. Much like the virtues of Hygge or the German Gemutlichkeit, It’s a way to spread some love and warmth during the chilly fall and winter months.
The idea is similar to “booing” – you create a “snuggle basket” filled with cozy items, and leave it on a neighbor, family member, friend, or co-worker’s doorstep anonymously. That neighbor then creates their own “snuggle basket” and passes it on to another, and so on, creating a chain of warm and fuzzy feelings throughout the community. NO ONE IS OBLIGATED TO RECIPRICATE!
Creating Your “Snuggle Basket”
To start your “you’ve been snuggled” tradition, you’ll need to create your own “snuggle basket.” Start by gathering some cozy and warm items, such as a fuzzy blanket, a mug, some hot cocoa mix, some cozy socks, or even a candle.
